Dear Fergal,

"Success is not a place or a destination. It is not large or small, expensive or cheap. It is a feeling that comes from achieving what we set out to do" Robin Sieger.

  • Synergistic Partnership Announcement
    fergal

I have recently partnered with MaST Ireland, an established provider of highly effective and professional management training and development programs. These training programs are an ideal fit to compliment our existing 1-1 Business Coaching services. Mast programs are designed to create sustained long term positive change for it's course participants. This is done, not by providing participants with vast quantities of theory and knowledge but by challenging the attitudes and subsequent behaviours that hold us all back and replacing these with a more positive framework from which better decisions can be made in the future.
If you would like any information on the full range of MaST programs please visit the MAST website www.mastireland. com or contact us directly to make an appointment. Tel: 061-467287
    Until next month, take care,
    Fergal.

    Giving effective feedback.

I came across a quote recently that said “there is no such thing as failure, just feedback”, which I truly believe. I have discovered, as I am sure you have too, that we learn more from our mistakes than we do from our successes, in fact we actually can become complacent in our successes.

    This month's book review

"Who moved my cheese" - Dr. Spencer Johnson

On the back of the copy I have it says "Over 12 million copies sold worldwide" and I am not surprised. Even a slow reader like myself will read this book in an hour.
This is a simple parable about 4 characters who live in a maze and look for cheese to nourish them and make them happy. The book shows us how to anticipate change, adapt to change quickly, enjoy change and be ready to change quickly, again and again. If you read the book, feel free to drop me an email and let me know which character you are?

    Quote for March

"There are two things to aim at in life: first, to get what you want and, after that, to enjoy it. Only the wisest of mankind achieve the second." - Logan Pearsall Smith (1865-1946)
